3D PRINTING & VACUUM FORMING
Inventors HQ has continued to expand it’s business offer and now includes 3D printing services and vacuum forming to assist you with the development and evolution of your invention, product, packaging or production of low volume end use parts. Having researched 3D printers for many years and saw the stabilisation of the equipment before purchasing, we are confident our on-site 3D printers can deliver the parts you need.
Our equipment and capabilities include;
SIGMAX R19 by BCN3D, a twin print head, large build volume filament printer
Formlabs F3, A resin printer with superb surface finishes and capabilities including 3D printed molds for low volume tooling and it utilises all resins except dental and medical.
Vacuum forming machine, VAQUFORM DT2 with materials such as PETG, HIPS and VFLEX. We can print your part and then form all in the same week.
We have all the best equipment under one roof and do not outsource (unless outside the size range) so we can save you significant turn around time and money. For information on the Formlabs resin printers and the Sigmax R19 check the videos below.
Please contact us with your STL file or if you need a design to create the file we can help you with this as well.
What’s Important
Turn around time
An invention can take months or even years to develop and the 3D printer can massively reduce this time and accelerate the evolution towards pre-production with the use of a 3D printer.
Inventors HQ’s turn around time can be as little as 24 hours plus 1or 2 days express delivery from receipt of file to dispatch depending of course on the print schedule, size of your print and pre-print alterations to ensure the print is successful first time. From our past experience the turn around time for other companies can take from 3 days to a week or more (from sending the file to receiving the printed part). This is particularly important if we are printing to test and check a design and then modifying it. We can design day time and print in the night time which means we get to the end result much faster and with less expense.
Materials
We can print with all the common plastic 3D print materials such as PLA, PP, ABS and PET and where there are requirements for other materials (excluding metals) we can source from a large library of materials.
Whats involved
Presently we ask you to upload the file in STL format and we will quickly assess the part and provide a quote including print cost, delivery cost (express or regular post) and expected time to complete. On receipt of payment we will schedule to print and when it has successfully completed we will send you an image or images to confirm it is what you needed and we will then dispatch your part.
