5. Prepare for Market (Months 10 - 14)
In this stage we concentrate on preparing and converting the invention into a product designed to a manufactured stage within the legal entity of a new Pty Ltd company. Stage 4 is required to be completed prior to stage 5 and 6 commencement.
Typical activities and deliverables include:
- Company establishment, company administration and issuing of shares
- Researched target companies
- Finalise the product design
- Finalise tooling and create tooling if necessary for the product
- Finalise materials of construction
- Prepare packaging
- Locate and introduce potential distributors
- Locate and introduce manufacturers and other preferred suppliers
The Fee structure for stages 5 and 6 are discussed on an individual basis as each product has different needs during these stage. A number of options exist for funding these stages and this will be part of the discussion. The primary activity is preparing for marketing and sales and we have a range of options and contacts that we can engage depending on the requirements of each product.
